Assignment Reflection:

I have quite a bit of experience coding from past classes required for my major. I have made several sites but I never felt super confident in knowing the next steps or how to fix something. I was taught how to code much differently than we did in this exercise and to me, I felt it made much more sense. I liked having the creative freedom to display the same copy in completely different styles. I had not done internal styling inside the html file before so that was something I had to get used to but enjoyed. My prior knowledge of adjusting margins and centering text was helpful to have for this exercise.

This assignment was less involved from my other coding assignments as we always had to code a nav bar and multiple pages that connected to each other. This was a great intro exercise to coding and would have been helpful before I had learned the more intense coding skills.

After this assignment, I felt like the I understood the basics of coding better and learned new ways to code, like internal css styling. I learned that coding is still not something I love to do but I can do it and it is helpful to understand how it works as a designer.
